Natalia is an author, educator, and wellness practitioner who believes that breath, storytelling, and stillness are tools for reclaiming our humanity and envisioning collective liberation. Through her work with schools, she has reimagined how children are supported, weaving regulation, mental health, and social-emotional learning into the very fabric of education.

Her debut picture book, Big Belly Breaths: A Día de los Muertos Story, is a celebration of culture, love, and emotional awareness. Rooted in the power of breath and tradition, the story offers children a way to navigate big feelings while honoring those who came before us.

Beyond writing, Natalia practices Kundalini meditation and breathwork, expanding her skillset into energy healing. She sees breath and creativity as interconnected tools that awaken authenticity and invite us to live in alignment with who we truly are.

Natalia lives in Houston, Texas with her partner and two children, who remind her every day that presence, play, and deep breaths are some of life’s most essential skills.
